YEARS OF TRADITION: Established in 1930 by Mrs. Pickles, "Barbetter Nursery" prospered by offering educational programs for young children. Handed on to the next generation, Mrs. Elizabeth Curtis carried on the tradition within the Quincy community for 25 years until her retirement in June 1998.

THE TRADITION CONTINUES: September of '98 marked a new beginning for the center as it reopened as "Little Willows Preschool" accommodating up to 24 children. Now offering programs year round for ages 2.7 through 7 on a full and part-time basis.

Emphasizing quality educational programs for young children within a safe, caring, and stress free environment; each program is creatively planned to inspire children and encourage early learning at an individual pace. Cheerful surrounds, enthusiastic teachers, and a well-developed curriculum offer children a variety of experiences and hands on activities designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth. Our goal for all ages is Kindergarten readiness made fun.

Little Willows Preschool is also licensed through the Office of Early Education & Care, DOE, and has achieved NAEYC accreditation. Our center operates as a multi-cultural, non-discriminatory preschool welcoming all. Our staff is experienced and trained in Early Childhood Education and CPR/Basic First Aid.
